ahh those cute little weasels... we had martens take over our attic for a while. The noise was incredible. We could hardly sleep at night as they were active after 11pm and all through the night!
Martens in the attic do not sound fun! Actually, I prefer no animals in our attic. Hope all turned out well. Did they just move on or did you have to have them removed?
it did turn out well for them and for us in the end, as the landlady put some copper installation that reflected and somehow kept them away. Unfortunately because of them we didn't move our things up fast enough from the cellar and all that was down there caught mould and was destroyed... including my entire university degree and my writing!
I always read your stories because they are a break from my usual feed of politics and business. You write well and pick interesting subjects. Thanks for a break in my day! ps- the grinder will be a real blessing!
Yes, about the grinder. I’ve used it a couple times and wow - fun and easy! I wanted to learn the skills to do it all by hand…I’m over that now. Do you also do glass?
I did it in the past but have not had the time lately. I love it and hope to get back to it soon. Maybe I will share a couple of pix of what I have done. I would love to learn some new techniques too

Oh, no! That must have been quite upsetting.
