Greetings!
Summer is definitely here! I know some people will say, “Uh, obviously, it’s been here for months already. However, it’s not unusual for some of us in the Pacific Northwest (U.S.) to not experience much summer until July. It’s kind of a running joke that you can’t rely on nice weather for camping on the 4th of July. Maybe that’s not a joke. It’s a reality. I’ll take it! If you are living in a place that is unbearably hot, you certainly have my sympathy.
Speaking of summer, I’ve been up to more stained glass than writing. I just finished my latest piece and put together a short project video featuring pictures from glass selection to Max and Jasper inspecting the final product. I think they approved but would have enjoyed it more had I sprinkled some yummy cat treats on it before showing them.
This Week
Best Trivia Tidbit
Sea turtles, or at least one of the seven species of them, would have been a perfect choice to feature this week but since I didn’t have time, I’ll at least share what I think is an interesting bit of trivia.

Leatherback sea turtles have existed in basically the same form for 110 million years. Perhaps part of their success is due to their incredible diving ability. They can dive to depths of over 4000 feet (1219 meters), which very few sea creatures can do, in their search for their primary food source, jellyfish.
Have a wonderful week!
Peace,
Dakota
Love your turtle-you're really getting good!
